A busy summer in the Cotter lab

It was a busy summer for us in the Cotter lab!

Peggy started her duties as ASM president-elect. The CEO of ASM, Stefano Bertuzzi, came to UNC to meet Peggy and talk to the department about the future of ASM as science becomes increasingly global. (P.S. Check out Stefano's blog, bLog Phase!)

Three postdocs mentored summer students through the SURE and SPIRE programs.

We celebrated prelims being over (and passed!) with 3 tubs of ice cream and a plethora of toppings. Yum!
